Velankanni Matha, also known as Our Lady of Good Health, is a Roman Catholic shrine located in Velankanni, a town in the Nagapattinam district of Tamil Nadu, India. The shrine is dedicated to the Virgin Mary, and is considered one of the most important pilgrimage sites for Catholics in India. It is believed that the Virgin Mary appeared in the town in the 16th century, and since then the shrine has become a popular destination for those seeking blessings and healing. The feast of Our Lady of Velankanni is celebrated annually on September 8th.
