Mantralaya is a small town located in the Andhra Pradesh state of India. It is a sacred place for devotees of Lord Sri Raghavendra, a 16th-century saint and philosopher who is considered to be an incarnation of Lord Vishnu.

According to legend, Lord Sri Raghavendra lived in Mantralaya for over 30 years, during which time he performed many miracles and helped many people with their problems. He also wrote several important works on philosophy and devotion during his time in Mantralaya.

The most important site in Mantralaya is the Sri Raghavendra Swamy Temple, which is built on the spot where Lord Sri Raghavendra attained "Jivanmukti" or salvation. The temple is considered to be one of the most sacred places for Sri Vaishnavites and Madhwa Brahmins, and is visited by thousands of devotees every year.

Mantralaya is also the site of Sri Raghavendra Mutt, a religious institution that was founded by Lord Sri Raghavendra himself. The Mutt is said to possess many of Lord Sri Raghavendra's original writings, and it is also home to many learned scholars who study and propagate his teachings.

Mantralaya is also considered as one of the seven "Mokshapuris" or places of salvation in the world and is an important pilgrimage destination for many people.
